In the article, a project of robotized positions to study optoelectronic heads in the RobotStudio environment was presented. The authors suggested to use industrial robots in order to simulate movement of the head holder as well as tracked objects. Modern RobotStudio programming environment application with virtual controller technology allowed for accurate reflection of the research position functionality. As a part of the carried out works, the control programs were drawn up in RAPID language.
